Yes, she did say 'I think people should give up their liberty for freedom', and she is, presumably, entitled to vote. General elections are determined by idiots like that.

I caught your details and blog after reading your straight to the point comment on Captain Ranty's 'Last Post' bollox! I did reply to him, but then deleted it. I thought as well for him to shut the fuck up and stop whining. He did the same about 3 months back or so and I thought fuck off.
Anyway....
I shook my head in disbelief and rewound to check I'd heard what I thought I heard her say - "We should give up our liberty for freedom."

The thing is William, I do like the Captain, as he's seeing life from the same perspective on me on many things, of course on other things he and I will differ (Islam and Zionism are possibly the biggest two).
Your comment struck a chord. It was straight to the point and I like that in people (Says I who write 5k word essays).
It is nice when you meet a new face most certainly and I like to hook up and say hello to like minded individuals. Most people will very much agree with what I have to write and many will vehemently disagree, but then that's the beauty of what I write about - liberty and difference.
I don't know how many people visit my blog and quite frankly I couldn't give a shite. I'll write what I have to, it's a journey of my current state of mind and more than probably, it will change months down the line as I did from Islam to Zionism and now even my belief in Zionism is beginning to change again, that is, they're merely puppets in the grand scheme of things as well.

As for deadhead peroxide blonde, cockenese moving into jafaican muppet, what is there to say? Yes, much of the public voting blocks are made up of ignoramuses like she. That's life though, what can be done?
I used to write 5k essays for Pox Anglorum but gave up doing so four years ago as the distractions and irritations of domestic life always interfered with the writing and drove me to delete them in frustration because the ideas that were crystalising evaporated with each intrusion, usually on the point of completion.
I too have no idea how many people read my rubbish, and I too do not give a shite. I deplore those who crow about their visitor statistics and implore their readers to vote for them in the numerous pointless rankings polls. Ranty's public announcement, and those of others, that he is giving up blogging in disillusionment and despair with the 'apathy' of the public is no more than another display of the same vanity. He'll be back, as they always are. Those who really give up blogging just slip away because they can no longer find the will to do it.
I have no such delusions; my nonsense is just the literary equivalent of a balloon released on a windy day, or a message in a bottle. Who knows where it will end up and who cares. My only worry, and that a slight one, is that it might seem from the rubbish I post that I cannot write anything else.
As for religion: That's a contentious subject that I cannot be bothered to cover. Suffice it to say I am not a believer.
